Their wedding on May 23, 2026 paired a traditional church ceremony with a Lowcountry reception close to Charleston.
A Church Ceremony Before 108 W Main
What a beautiful wedding and reception we recently had the privlege to be a part of! Ellie and Judson decided that 108 W Main would be the place for them for getting ready and their reception. Ellie started off her day at 108 W Main with her closest friends and family for getting ready. They all share intimate time together while assembling their attire, and remembering some of their most important days together; this day will be included in their memories for the future. The couple decided to get married at St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church. That left the garden ceremony space at 108 W Main unused on their wedding day. Guests would enjoy it later instead, after the vows were done. It’s a setup Charleston couples choose often: a church ceremony followed by a separate reception venue. For Ellie and Judson, that combination worked well.
Getting Ready Inside the House at 108 W Main
The bridal party got ready inside the two-story house at 108 W Main. Separate spaces on each side of the home meant the wedding party never crossed paths before the ceremony began. Big windows filled the rooms with natural light, the kind that shows up beautifully in photos and video. One shot caught Ellie by the window in her veil, with the light spilling in behind her. Elijah Jones, a Complete Weddings + Events videographer, filmed those quiet moments and the celebration that followed.
A Charleston-Area Reception at 108 W Main
Once the ceremony ended, guests made their way to 108 W Main in Moncks Corner, SC for the reception. The glass-enclosed pavilion and brick patios gave everyone room to move between dinner, toasts, and dancing. A wood-burning fireplace and full bar kept the evening comfortable well past sunset. String lights glowed over the cake table as Ellie and Judson cut the first slice together. The venue holds up to 160 guests, giving Ellie and Judson’s group room to spread out. A traditional reception order kept the night easy to follow for every guest.
The Dance Floor Was the Highlight of the Night
